Wood & Co. adds Athens Stock Exchange membership to its roster

Wood & Company became a member of the Greek Stock Exchange, based in Athens, on 3 November, joining a small group of foreign brokerage houses including CITIGROUP, Credit Suisse, UBS, DB, Merrill Lynch, SocGen, and Chevreux. ‘We currently provide access to 12 stock exchanges across Europe and to prestigious Dubai’ commented Andrea Ferancova, Partner and Head of Equities at Wood. She adds, ‘We aim to provide our clients a high quality portfolio of investment opportunities on a wide range of interesting markets.’

In September, Wood & Company reached 5% market share in Warsaw, one of the most important stock exchanges in the region, where the firm recently opened an office. The Athens membership strengthens Wood’s position on the Southeast European markets.
