WOOD & CO appoints Head of Research

Wood & Co announced today the appointment of Mark Robinson as Head of Research. Mark is bringing 16 years of London-based buy side and sell side experience to the business. Previously Head of Equity Research at UniCredit and its Emerging European forerunner CA IB, he combines the management role with client service through an Equity Strategy product. His buy side posts included 6 years as an Emerging European Fund Manager at JP Morgan Fleming AM, following 2 years in the same role in the Asian universe at the same firm. He started his career at pension fund NPI looking at the Asia cum-Japan region. Mark graduated from the University of Oxford with an M.A. in Geography and holds the ASIP designation. Current distinctions include a no.2 team ranking for Emerging European Equity Strategy in the 2010 Institutional Investor All-EMEA Survey (no.3 in 2009) and a no.3 individual ranking for Emerging European Equity Strategy in the 2010 Thomson Reuters Extel Survey (no.1 in 2009).
